Peer Mentor Program (Big/Little)
The Big/Little Program is a peer mentorship program in which each member of the incoming class is paired with a second-year student. A first-year student’s “Big” will help ensure that the transition into dental school is a smooth one.
This program is designed to answer questions, from determining the appropriate dress code and effectively studying for classes to finding your way around Gainesville.
Clinical Associates
Each Fall semester, second-year students are assigned to a clinical care group and matched with a third-year clinical associate. This program is designed to assist rising third-year students with the transition from second year pre-clinical courses to practicing in the DMD student clinics.
