For Faculty

FAQ’s

I am a new faculty member. Where can I find information about the University of Florida and its general policies and procedures?

Read the UF Faculty Handbook for a general reference to the policies and procedures that guide the University of Florida in the pursuit of its basic goals of teaching, research, and service.

I am a new faculty member. How can I obtain a professional photo for the website?

For all faculty members, we need professional photos to use on our website and in other ways. If you have a recent photo, including high resolution versions, please send them to Karen Rhodenizer.

UF Health has professional photographers who will take headshots of faculty and staff. They are located in Communicore and have pre-set hours when the photo studio will be open. No reservations are necessary. Clinical faculty should have two versions taken (one with a white coat and one without). This is the link for directions and days/times.  http://creativeservices.ufhealth.org/services/photography/

I am a new faculty member. How can I set up my profile on UFHealth.org?

If you provide direct patient care, you should have a provider profile on the UFHealth.org site. The first step is logging in to the UF Health Directory with your Gatorlink username and password to update your profile, including adding a professional white coat photo. Once you have updated your profile in the UF Health Directory, please reach out to Karen Rhodenizer or Kelly Sobers and we will have you added as a provider on UFHealth.org.
